Why?

This page is dedicated to the fight against racism, and I don't just mean the racism that occurs between various races of people. I'm talking about racism as a whole. The discrimination of people of different races, religions, social backgrounds, homosexuals, and any other hate issue.

The movie "American History X" which came out in 1998 brings to your attention a number of different points that all tie into why racism is so pointless. For those who haven't seen the movie here's the deal.
Hate is baggage, life is too short to run around being pissed off all the time.

I mean stop and consider this for a moment. Every person on this planet has a brain, a heart, and an opinion. No one can take that away from anyone else. So what if some people are white and some people are black or tan or brown or whatever. Its just a color. It doesnt mean anything. I know that its hard, I know that there are a lot of racist people still out there, but I believe they can be educated. And I know that in society there are still some social and racial kinks to work out, but I cant change that. I can only talk to people and make pages like this one to try to get others to understand that we are all equal and we have no right to judge eachother. There are no good races or bad races, its good people and bad people. Some people do things like murdering people or raping people, and our society believes that that is wrong, as do I and many others. So we put those people in prisons to protect our people. And I'm not talking about our race of people, I'm talking about our country of people. Everyone.

We all need to learn to unify, and become one. To love and have understanding for eachother and our differences. And sadly I dont think in my life time or anyone elses it will happen. But its a nice thought. And thats the way it should be.
